TRASH AND RECYCLING TOTES ONLY TO BE PICKED UP
From the Office of the Mayor
Beginning Monday, March 23, garbage and recycling crews will collect only Trash and Recycling totes for residential collection. Workers will not pick up additional personal containers, bags, boxes, or bulk items. Following public health guidelines, these restrictions are being instituted by refuse hauling companies across the nation to protect workers and held prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
It is likely Spring Cleanup, previously scheduled for Saturday, May 2, will be postponed as a result of these changes. A news release will be issued when more information is known.
The City of Delphi remains committed to providing excellent customer service. For more information or for assistance please call (765) 564-2097 during regular business hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; and 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
