Clerk-Treasurer's Office
The Clerk-Treasurer's office is responsible for the accounting of the city, maintaining court records, water billing, and handling payroll for all city employees.
Every four years, the Delphi residents elect a Clerk-Treasurer, a Mayor, and a five-member City Council. The Clerk-Treasurer's term of office is for four years with no restrictions on the number of terms which can be served. A person is eligible to serve as Clerk-Treasurer if that person has resided in the city for one year. If that person ceases to be a resident of the city, the person forfeits the office of Clerk-Treasurer.
