When does the city collect trash?
Curbside trash collection occurs on Tuesdays throughout the year using tote with RED lid; curbside recycling pickup is every other Tuesday beginning with January 11, 2022 using tote with YELLOW lid. Note that when there is a holiday that falls on a Monday, collection may be on Wednesday. Check the Service Calendar for actual dates. Your trash and recycling totes need to be set out by 6:00AM. If you have additional questions, please contact the Delphi Street Department at 765-564-2353.

How do I pay my water bill?
The Delphi Water and Wastewater Departments are located at:

Water and Wastewater bills may be paid in person during office hours:
- 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Wednesday 7:30 am - 12:00 noon
- Closed Saturday, Sunday, and holidays.
Water and wastewater bills may also be paid online.
Water, wastewater, and sanitation payments are due by the 15th of the month. Penalties are added after the 15th as follows:
- Water: 10% of first $3.00, 3% of balance over $3.00
- Wastewater: 10% of total wastewater charge

Do I have to pay water tap fees?
New dwellings within the City of Delphi, or areas served by the Delphi Waterworks, can obtain hookup and meter for water services. The tap fee is $750 which includes a water meter that remains the property of the City. A tap application form can be obtained by clicking on the link below, or by visiting the Water Clerk at the City offices, 201 S. Union Street.
