We Need Your Help...

The City must complete a full inventory of Water Service Lines from the main to the customer’s house by October 2024. This is to comply with the Lead and Copper Rule enforced by the EPA for every Public Water System. The ultimate goal is to ensure safe drinking water.

If we cannot identify the line material by this survey, we may be required to dig up your yard on your side of the meter as well as the City side to determine what kinds of material make up your service line. With your help, we will not have to go door to door to check your incoming service line.

We ask you to help us identify the type of service line coming into your house from the meter.
