Appearing in Court:
Persons receiving tickets that require a Court appearance, or persons who do not wish to resolve the case by pleading guilty and paying the assesssd fine should be aware of the following:

1. Payment must be made in the form of cash, money order, or cashier's check.
Company and personal checks are not accepted.

2. Anyone under 18 years old must appear in Court, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

3. Persons may call the Court Clerk of the Delphi City Court if you have any
questions about your case. However, wait at least five days after receiving a ticket to ensure the Court staff has the information on file.

4. Persons must appear in Court on the date shown on the bottom of the ticket, which is an initial hearing date, not a trial date.

5. Persons may request a continuance by making a request with the Court Clerk before the scheduled hearing date.
